Individual contract with the service user of "ASAP COURIERS"
Each shipment is handled with an ASAP COURIERS Courier Accompanying Note, where they are clearly stated by the Sender, who is also fully responsible for writing the correct information - the complete information of himself, the Recipient on the date and time of collection, as well as the services desired.
The pension of SY.DE.TA. and the undertaking of the transport by "ASAP COURIERS" certifies the drawing up of an individual contract between the user of the services and the company "ASAP COURIERS" and guarantees the acceptance of the general conditions of undertaking transport by the parties involved.
In SY.DE.TA. the following are defined: the unacceptable objects, as well as the objects whose transport is prohibited according to International, National and European conventions, the right of the company not to receive objects for circulation, if the Sender refuses their inspection by a representative of the company, the terms of insurance coverage of the postal item and its amounts, the compensations for delays, loss and damage to items and the deadlines within which the user can claim them, at least in accordance with Ministerial Decision 29030/816/2.6.2000 ( Official Gazette 683/Β΄), the cases in which the postal company is not responsible, the way of managing unsubsidized postal items, and the procedure for resolving disputes between the company and the user.
The Sender entrusting the handling of his shipment to "ASAP COURIERS" accepts the transport conditions of "ASAP COURIERS" both for himself and in his capacity as the representative of the principal, owner or owner of the goods being transported.
The above also applies in cases where the company undertakes the handling of mass shipments, where the transported shipment is accompanied by a simplified SY.D.TA., which does not include the Terms & Conditions of Undertaking Transportation.
Unless otherwise agreed, "ASAP COURIERS" has the obligation to deliver the item to the Recipient's address and to a third party, in the absence of the Recipient. On delivery, the Consignee clearly states his name, the date and time of receipt and signs the bill of lading. The responsibility of "ASAP COURIERS" for the transported shipments ceases to be valid at the moment of delivery of the respective shipment to the Recipient.
The signature of the Recipient with the delivery details written on the copy of the SY.DE.TA is clear evidence of the correctness of the delivery.
All consignments handled by "ASAP COURIERS" are tracked and located electronically at all stages of their transport through ESPETA. "ASAP COURIERS" maintains traffic information through E.S.P.E.T.A. as well as a SY.DE.TA file. in electronic or paper form for six months from the date of dispatch.
ASAP COURIERS makes every effort to deliver the shipment according to normal shipping schedules. "ASAP COURIERS" is not responsible for any positive or collateral damage caused by any delays, beyond what is defined in Article 9 of the courier terms and conditions.
"ASAP COURIERS" is able to immediately inform the sender and the recipient about the progress of the shipment as long as the number of the bill of lading (S.D.E.TA.) is communicated to it. In detail, the terms and conditions for undertaking transport are as follows: Terms & Conditions for Undertaking the Transport of Documents & Parcels by "ASAP COURIERS" prohibitions
Postal items not accepted - prohibitions

"ASAP COURIERS" is not obliged to check the content of the object being transported and the Sender declares responsibly that the shipment does not include any of the above items.
Management of undelivered items
"ASAP COURIERS" takes care of all cases of postal shipments, which could not be delivered for any reason.
In the first stage, he issues a written notification (notification) to the Recipient and returns the shipment to the company's premises. In a second stage, an attempt is made for a second or more delivery attempts, in consultation with the Receiver and/or the Sender.
Finally, if it becomes impossible to deliver the shipment to the Recipient, "ASAP COURIERS" returns the shipment to the Sender, with a charge equal to the original amount paid for its shipment.
It should be emphasized that even in cases of refusal of the respective Recipient to receive a shipment, the shipment in question will be returned to the Sender with a charge equal to the initial amount paid for its shipment.
When the postal item cannot, for some reason, be delivered to the recipient or returned to the sender, then it remains for six (6) months from the last unsuccessful delivery attempt, in the company's warehouses, at the expense of the Sender.
After the end of the six-month period, the item is considered definitively unsubsidized and a destruction procedure is followed following the drawing up of a relevant destruction report by the company. Items that have been officially withheld or have been declared by the sender as having a value greater than 100.00 euros are excluded from the above procedure, in which case they are attributed to E.E.T.T.

In the event of loss or damage to the sent object, document or parcel, the responsibility of "ASAP COURIERS" is limited to the lesser of the amounts specified below:

The above also applies to the cases of shipments with a declared value, but without having been insured with "ASAP COURIERS".
In any case, the provisions of Ministerial Decision 29030/816/2.6.2000 (Government Gazette 683/B) apply. If the customer wishes to have further coverage, he must insure his shipment with "ASAP COURIERS" by declaring this on the SY.DE.TA. and listing the value of the shipment, which must be obtained from legal documents, bearing the corresponding cost of insurance.
For shipments worth more than 5,000 Euros, the handling and insurance coverage of the shipments can only be done after communication and a special agreement (written via E-mail or Fax) with the company.
The compensation in the event of a delay in the delivery of a postal item when it is not due to force majeure, may not exceed the compensation paid for the loss of uninsured shipments, as defined in Article 7, 7.1 and 7.2 of the terms and conditions of carriage by "ASAP COURIERS ».
"ASAP COURIERS" is only liable for direct damage and up to the amounts specified above. In no event shall it be liable for any other kind of loss or damage (including but not limited to any kind of consequential or incidental damages, lost profits, loss of income, etc.) from any cause whatsoever.
Cases of non-liability of "ASAP COURIERS"
"ASAP COURIERS" bears no responsibility for improper fulfillment of its obligations, due to one of the following cases:
1) Force majeure, as defined by the applicable legislation, such as in particular extraordinary events, which are not due to acts or omissions of the company or its partners or affiliates, the consequences of which negatively affect the operation of the company. During any event falling under this condition, the postal company will take all appropriate measures in order to comply as fully as possible with the conditions hereunder.
